Alcoholism

Alcoholism is describe as a primary, chronic disease characterized by impaired control over drinking, preoccupation with the drug alcohol, use of alcohol despite adverse consequences, and distortions in thinking. But most people describe alcoholism as drunkenness and consider it as a disease. In common and historic usage, alcoholism refer to any condition that result in the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages despite health problems and negative social consequences.

Each year alcoholism kills over 30,000 people and many more struggle with the side effects of alcohol abuse. Alcohol contained substance that almost the same as the drugs such as marijuana and cocaine, and still remain as the number one problem in the United State. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, alcoholism, also referred to as dipsomania described a preoccupation with, or compulsion toward the consumption of alcohol or an impaired ability to recognize the negative effect of excessive alcohol consumption.

This matter should be taken seriously by all people cause the consequences is really bad. There is no positive point in consuming the alcohol, think smart and better stop drinking and start a healthy life from now for the generation of tomorrow.
